CRASHING INTO YOU

Descriptive Synopsis

When a plane crash leaves retired Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician Jackson Miller, country music icon Daisy Fox, and her best friend, former soccer star Sarah Downey, stranded on a tropical volcanic island, survival becomes their greatest challenge. But as they confront nature, their pasts, and the mystery behind the crash, the real test lies in their transformation. Jackson’s survival expertise, rooted in years of military preparation, offers the group a fighting chance, while Daisy and Sarah bring their own strength and spirit to the battle for endurance.

For Jackson, the island becomes the first place where the meaning of family begins to take shape. Orphaned as a child and sent from one foster home to another, he spent his life unable to grasp the concept of belonging. Daisy and Sarah, with their unwavering resolve and dynamic personalities, forge bonds with Jackson that are equal parts healing and unbreakable. Sarah’s playful, optimistic demeanor fosters a sibling-like bond with Jackson, deepened by her determination to “adopt” him as a brother. Meanwhile, Daisy sheds the veneer of stardom to rediscover the southern belle within and challenges Jackson to open his heart to her, revealing his darkest truths.

Their fragile unity is tested when a violent storm sweeps through the island and leaves Daisy and Sarah vulnerable to attack by stranded smugglers. Jackson’s timely intervention saves them, and the aftermath cements their unyielding bond, ultimately breaking down Jackson’s emotional walls. Their rescue arrives in the form of a sailboat, bringing them back to civilization—but the mystery of the crash refuses to stay buried.

Once back in the United States, the trio hides out in Telluride, Colorado, during the holiday season, knowing someone may have sabotaged the plane to target one of them. A failed purse-snatching incident reveals the crash’s deliberate nature, setting off a chain of events that ties Jackson’s military past to a shadowy truth. With help from a three-letter agency contact and a revelation from Sarah’s old belongings, the trio uncovers evidence against a so-called charity, Freedom of God’s Children—a sinister organization exploiting children under the guise of rescuing children.

As they work together to bring the organization down, the shocking truth emerges: Sarah’s father is at the helm of its heinous operations. With their bond stronger than ever, Jackson, Daisy, and Sarah face their darkest fears and make sacrifices to expose the charity's atrocities.

At its core, this tale explores resilience, courage, and the unyielding power of human connection. From the trials on the island to the emotional battles of reintegration, each character must navigate profound choices that redefine their identities. As tensions rise and secrets unravel, readers will be captivated by this unforgettable journey of survival, transformation, and the enduring strength of love and friendship.
